With a technology as unique as FROG @ease, it only makes sense it would have a unique test strip. FROG @ease test strips let you know when your SmartChlor® Cartridge is empty. There is no need to measure the level of chlorine because it self regulates at the same level every time. Instead the single color on the bottle tells you your cartridge life is fine or you need to replace it.

How do FROG @ease Test Strips work?
In 2 seconds, you can know precisely whether your pH, Total Alkalinity and Hardness are balanced, plus whether or not SmartChlor® needs replacing. Simply dip the FROG @ease Test Strip into the water, remove with the pads facing up and shake once to remove the water on the FROG Test Strips. Then hold it up next to the color chart on the back of the bottle to compare colors.
If the SmartChlor color on the strip is darker than the bottle label, the water is fine. If it is lighter it’s time to replace the Smartchlor Cartridge.
This technology is so unique it has its own testing method that’s easier than standard test strips.
What if I use regular test strips with my FROG product?
Regular test strips will be confusing because they will read a low free chlorine level and a high total chlorine level which normally means it’s time to shock. With FROG @ease, it means the product is self-regulating perfectly to meet the sanitizing needs of your hot tub and no action is required.
How does water balance affect FROG @ease?
It is very important that you check the Total Alkalinity and pH of the hot tub at least once a week to make sure it is staying in the correct range of 80-20 for TA and 7.2 to 7.8 for pH. SmartChlor effectiveness will drop if the water is not balanced.
How are FROG Test Strips different from FROG @ease Test Strips?
With SmartChlor Technology self-regulating the chlorine level, you don’t have to monitor it. So FROG @ease Test Strips have a simple out indicator to show when the SmartChlor Cartridge is empty. FROG Test Strips are for anyone using a FROG product with standard chlorine or bromine. It helps monitor those levels in the ideal range when using FROG minerals, so you get the most from Fresh Mineral Water.

After purchase, you can return your Buenospa hot tub for up to 100 days if you have any displeasure with it and have the option of returning it. However, we know for sure that Buenospa is the perfect choice for you!
If you wish to cancel your order free of charge, you must email us within 2 (two) business days of the purchase, and cancel your order. If you choose to cancel your order after 2 (two) business days, you will be charged 5% (five percent) of the total purchase price to cover costs incurred on your behalf. If you choose to cancel or exchange your order after the item has shipped but no more than 100 (one hundred) days, you will be responsible for shipping charges of $1000 (thousand dollars) plus 10% (ten per cent) of the total invoice to cover costs incurred on your behalf.
When you need to return or exchange any purchased item, you have to provide the proof of purchase and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
A valid return should be based on one of the following conditions and as per the requirements listed below:
- All returns require Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
- After obtaining an RMA, you have to ensure that your return is adequately packed for shipping and insured
- Clearly and legibly indicate the provided RMA number on the package. Returns without an RMA cannot be accepted, consequently will not be accepted.
- We must receive your return within 60 (sixty) calendar days of purchase.
- Merchandise must be in original, salable condition without cosmetic damage, or any other damage.
- Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
- Customer is responsible for the safe return if the package including the shipping and the related insurance.
- The spa must be at curbside, and ready for pickup at the scheduled time and date.
To Request an RMA:
Provide your name and contact information, the order number, the date of purchase, the product plate information (indicating model name, serial number, configuration ID), any photos or other media files if your reason for the return is any kind of damage.
- Use the Support Request Form online as the quickest way to obtain an RMA (fastest way - no waiting on hold).
